What are cyclones, and how are they formed?

Cyclone: A strong storm of warm winds around low atmospheric pressure is called.  In the Southern Hemisphere, these warm winds are known as "cyclones" and move in a clockwise direction.  Whereas in the northern hemisphere these hot winds are called "hurricanes" or "typhoons".  They move in anti-clockwise direction.

Due to the intense heat of the sun in the sea of hot areas, the air heats up and creates an area of low air pressure.  The air heats up and rises rapidly and becomes saturated with the moisture above, condensing to form clouds.  The moist air moves down and up to fill the void.  As a result, these winds move around the area very quickly, causing heavy rain and thunderstorms along with thunderstorms.
