 Born on July 5, 1995 in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, PV Sindhu's father P Ramanna and mother P Vijeta have both been national level volleyball players. PV Sindhu has been playing badminton since she was 8 years old. She considers famous badminton player Pullela Gopichand as her role model. She took her early training in badminton in Secunderabad under the supervision of Mehboob Khan. His passion and passion for badminton was such that he was soon selected in Gopichand's academy. His real training took place in this academy. He won many titles in the under-10 age group. He won gold medals in the National School Games of India as well as won several national titles in the Under-13 and Under-12 singles and doubles categories. Sindhu won the fifth Servo All India Ranking Championship in the Under-10 category. Apart from this, PV Sindhu also won the singles title for Ambuja Cements in the All India Rankings.



 Started international career by winning bronze medal,


 PV Sindhu entered the international badminton circuit in 2009 by winning a bronze medal at the Subjunior Asian Championships in Colombo, her first medal at the international level. He also traveled to the quarter-finals of the Junior World Championship in Mexico in 2010. She was also a member of the Indian women's team in the 2010 Uber Cup. In 2012, Sindhu defeated Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to win the Under-19 Youth Asian Badminton Championship. In the 2014 World Badminton Championship, she created history by winning her second consecutive silver medal. She became the first Indian shuttler to win two consecutive medals at the World Championships.



 History has been created by the brilliant performance in the Olympics.


 PV Sindhu won the gold medal in the mixed team event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, along with a silver medal in the women's singles. But PV Sindhu wanted to illuminate India's name in the Olympics. In this episode, PV Sindhu won the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Sindhu defeated Nozomi Okuhara of Japan to become the country's youngest medalist. After which PV Sindhu continued her stellar performance in the Tokyo Olympics held in 2021.

 A tremendous comeback after losing in the semi-finals,


 The country's badminton star PV Sindhu did not lose a single match in the journey till reaching the semi-finals in the Tokyo Olympics. However, she lost in the semi-finals. He then won the bronze medal match against Bing Xiao. She had a tough fight with Japan's Yamaguchi in the quarterfinals as well, but her attacking ground smash in the end saved two game points and won two straight sets to reach the semi-finals. Sindhu is called a player of the big match. His Korean coach has been instrumental in maintaining his ability to perform well in big matches.



 Never held back from working hard,


 PV Sindhu practiced hard in badminton. He strengthened himself psychologically to deliver the best performances in big matches under pressure from his Korean coach Park Tae Seung. First Sindhu's defense was weak, the attack was strong. Every major international badminton player was aware that Sindhu plays powerful smashes due to her strong attack. Players used to tire him and wait for his smash and defended him to get the point. Coach Park worked on Sindhu's defense skills. When the Tokyo Olympics were postponed last year, the coach took advantage of the remaining time to strengthen Sindhu's motion skills. Trained him to drop shot and half smash.

 PV Sindhu's training was quite different. To train him, his coach used to call three-four boys from another academy at the stadium in Hyderabad. In the court there was Sindhu on one side and there were three shuttlers on the front side. One shuttler was in the front, two were in the back court. He used to change his position every five to ten minutes. The coach used to tell these boys to confuse Sindhu by playing shots like motion cross, slide smash and body smash to strengthen Sindhu's defence. Earlier, Sindhu used to play only four-handed shots. After training in a new way, now she has started playing back hand shots very well. Along with Sindhu, her coach also tried to understand her game by watching old videos of some international players. This made Sindhu's game stronger.



 Has been honored with many honors including Khel Ratna, Padma Shri,


 PV Sindhu, who has brought laurels to India in the game of badminton, has been honored with many honors. She has been honored with many big honors including Arjuna Award in 2013, Padma Shri Award in 2015, Khel Ratna in 2016, Padma Bhushan in 2020 and Indian Sports Woman of the Year in 2020. Not only this, she also got 2016 FICCI Breakthrough Sports Person of the Year, 2014 NDTV Indian of the Year Award, Silver Medal in Women's Singles at Commonwealth Games, Gold Medal in World Championship, Silver Medal in 2016 Rio Olympics, and now she has Bronze Medal in Tokyo Olympics. has also been awarded.
